Lithuania implemented PSD2

The Lithuanian Parliament has adopted laws implementing the Second Payment Services Directive (PSD2) on 17th April 2018.

Newly adopted Law on Payments, Law on Payment Institutions and Law on Electronic Money and Electronic Money Institutions come into force on 1st August 2018.

Currently licensed payment institutions and electronic money institutions must amend their activities to the PSD2 requirements by 1st November 2018.
